I saw their site and I'm intrigued by their line, especially their 1988 "Nostalgia" series. Just wondering if anyone has used their paint, if the colors are consistent, have decent flow etc....and most important of all, if their Blood Red is a MATCH!!!

I have a ton of their paints and I love them =)
They have a lovely flow, the colours blend wonderfully with eachother and with both valejo and games workshop paints.

I only have a slight issue with their gold metallics as they separate quite a lot and are hard to control, but their coverage is great.

Thank you for the info! I wanted to buy a large batch of paints in one go, and wanted to know if it was worth the time and money, now I can purchase with confidence!

Their metallics are water based yes?

I have a few, they flow well buy their coverage is rather poor.

I'd also recommend against buying a large batch of any one paint, simply because no brand is prefect, and you will waste the majority.

Yes I believe they are =)
The shipping is great too ^^ I think I bought something like 50 paints from them at once and everything arrived within a few days, wonderfully packaged and with a little freebie pot of transparent red as well ^^

I have their greens and flesh tones from very early on... I'm so-so with them. Mine are very very thin, and separate on the palette. For layering it's okay, but can be pretty frustrating.

I've never used the Warcolours paints before, but since you are in the states. If you have a hobby lobby near you, not sure if they are in CA yet, but they are selling Vallejo now, along with testors paints.

I wouldn't buy a set either, since you won't use but a 1/3 of them at most, depending on your paint schemes. I would buy the colors you need when you need them to save money.

Note that Hobby Lobby is only selling a small percentage of the Model Color line (50 out of the 206 colors - not counting mediums and varnishes).

I'm new to Warhammer and ended up getting a bunch of the Warcolours paints instead of GW/Vallejo to try out. I haven't used any other paint brands so I can't really compare them anything, but I like them, especially the metallics. Below are some pictures of literally the first thing I've ever painted, so look less at the skill and more at the actual metallic colors:
