Hey everyone, the Portal is running an 1,850pt 40K event 19th March. This will be an ITC event so scores will count toward ITC points for those folks interested.

Had 30+ players show up at the last 40k tournament at the portal and some really great competition. Definitely pumped for this.

Love the Portal. I've been out twice, for two different systems, despite it being a two hour+ drive, and have had a blast.

I don't know what is in that communities water, but they have the coolest folks to game with. Casual, but competitive.

Planning on being there for this one!

Thanks to everyone who showed up yesterday. 47 people stayed the whole day to play and the competition was fierce - a four way tie for first place broken only by the margin of victory differential. Even then, two folks tied for second place!

As a result of the attendance store has decided to run a two-day event at the beginning of May. More details to follow!

I mentioned this to Alex, but I know they used the spreadsheet given to them by ITC so perhaps something is wrong on the spreadsheet formula level.

The ITC Points system says the modifier should be 1 + # Players * .0032. Shouldn't, in this case, the modifier have worked out to be 1.1504? Seems like in general folks should have gotten more points for a 47 person tournament.

All told a great tourney, Portal has a solid location. Looking forward to their May GT.

I've sent an email to frontline to see what the formula should be and if I need to resend it I will.

EDIT - confirmation the multiplier should be 0.0032. Corrected scores have been sent to Frontline. Huzzah! More points for everyone.
