Subject: Need help on making Dark Eldar versions of Aspect Warriors

Insect-Infested Nurgle Chaos Lord

I really like Aspect Warriors but I get bored of the models they have now (especially Swooping hawks, which I intend on replacing with Scourges) so I was wondering how I can "Dark Eldar-fy" them. The lore behind this army would be that they're a Kabal that is primarily made up of Eldar who defected from the Paths and into Commoragh, bringing with them the art of war from when they were aspect warriors. The easiest would be the aforementioned Swooping Hawks, since they can pretty much just be vanilla scourges and kabalites with a weapon swap. The others I'm a bit iffy on. Dire Avengers, Dark Reapers and Fire Dragons would all be based off of kabalite warriors, but a simple weapon swap doesn't seem enough. Then there are Banshees, who would be good to be based on Wyches, but I have no idea how to represent their helms. Scorpions I may use Incubi to represent, and finally I have no clue what Warp Spiders could be made from.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'd like to stay within GW's model range though, so no third party models. Thanks!

Well, I'd look at chopping a bunch of Dark Eldar details (Spikes, layered armour plates, blades) and fixing them over the Eldar models, so it is evident that they were added later as modifications? It sounds like an interesting project idea, and I'd like to see what it looks like at the end, but sadly all I can say is to mix and match Eldar and Dark Eldar bits - Perhaps pull in some AoS Dark Elves for some helmets and weapons, but other than that I can't think of anything.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)
2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)
Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan! |

I don't really want them to end up as "spiky eldar" though. I did think about using Hellion boards to turn them into "pseudo-warp-jump packs" but that just ended up looking goofy. I did have an idea where Mandrakes would be the Warp Spiders, but their lack of guns and totally messing up the lore (Mandrakes are mutated Dark Eldar I think? So there's no way they'd be former Warp Spiders) didn't jive with it :/
This all started with the Scourge-to-Swooping-Hawks thing, since it gave me the idea that these former Hawks saw the scourges, and decided to take their aspect warrior-ness to the next logical step, even beyond that of an exarch (and get hollowed bones and bird feathers).
