From what I've read the new slannesh items are quite spectacular, particularly the slothful claw, a 10pts S+2 AP2 weapon with rending on one attack as well as it being a specialist weapon. This is almost doubly as good as the must have etherblade, and makes taking allures' almost a must when packing daemonettes.
The soulgreed sword is also quite a nice weapon, ap3 and you regain a wound for each model that character kills, equip it to a daemon prince or Keeper of Secrets and you could regain around 2 wounds per assault phase or more!
The spells, warlord traits and formations are rarher average, but I will include a picture to hear what you all think of the imporovements.

Well, Slaanesh has always been one of the effective powers - their speed plus their access to cheap telepaths makes them nice and effective.
The new Hellforged Artefacts being In Addition to daemonic rewards is amazing. Being able to have two Greater Rewards for toughness-boosting AND a decent weapon makes princes and greater daemons much scarier.
It's a real shame the whip can't be given to a prince or keeper!
The warlord traits are nasty. The most significant one is Celerity Of Slaanesh - On a Herald with a pack of Seekers, that's pretty much an automatic turn one charge.
Pair that up with an Exalted Locus of Beguilment, Aquiescence, Banner Of Excess and the Forbidden Gem, and you can pretty much pick any one character of your choice, casually saunter over and stab them to death.
I'll be honest, it's more the Nurgle stuff I'm waiting for. Because obviously, a Great Unclean One isn't hard enough to kill at the moment.

Despite what the lore description says you can give the whip to a prince or the Keeper! The description above is purely lore based, the criteria for weilding any of these weapons are So long as you can roll for daemonic rewards and provided you are a daemon of slannesh you can choose one of any of these hellforged artifacts but only 1 per army.
I don't know what I like more on my Keeper of Secrets the whip or the soulstealer. Soulstealer will garrentee atleast a regain of 1 to 2 wounds per assault phase if not more, the whip is just unbelievably brutal for 15 pts

It has the "4" footnote. The 4 footnote says "Exalted Alluress only"

Ohhhhhh I see, well soulstealer it is then. Considering I never manage to roll invis or even shrouded on my Keeper of Secrets I'm thinking of rolling all on the slannesh spell table, the 1st spell looks AMAZING so does the large blast

I was disappointed at first when I saw the ruling on the whip. It really had some potential. Same disappointment I got from the khorne 6-to hit-for D hits. Still slaanesh is powerful enough. I am a great fan and almost always play a 20 seeker unit with 2-3 heralds in. I have never used chariots but the decurion is interesting enough to make me start. I think a decurion fully slaaneshi based, at least from core and aux perspective will be a hit. 20 seekers and 5 seeker chariots. Boom. Daemonettes are not cheap though, so basic formation might be a problem. Tallyband maybe the answer. As for the artifacts, the gem wording might make problems, so I would avoid it in tournament play. Claw paired with aetherblade seems ok and cheap. Wound recovery blade is ok for KoS and DP, but who plays any of these two atm? Kairos is much better investment.

I think a mix of telepathy and excess is best. Telepathy has almost no bad powers - I guess the leadership boosting one is the only one.
A combination of both is better than either alone. Invisibility is, as ever, amazing, but Terrify works well with Pavane, Shards, Choir and Phantasmagoria.
Equally, whilst I don't think you can hit a unit with the same malediction twice - certainly a unit can't cast it twice - nothing says you can't hit them with two powers with the same effect - Phantasmagoria and Dominate at the same time can leave a unit standing around like a bunch of lemons quite easily; especially units which have are fearless but low leadership (like Carnifex and Battle-Automata).
I agree the Keeper isn't ideal. To be fair, the Keeper is less important to Slaanesh forces than the Bloodthirster is to Khorne - a Herald with a Greater Aetherblade can still job tanks, can hide inside units and on a steed is a damn sight faster around the board.

So with the new Daemonic Incursion list, how are people building it?
The Slaanesh core seems kind of boring/expensive, either with 60+ identical models, or 18 models at 21€ a piece.

This silence offends Slaanesh! Things will get loud now!

I'm thinking of just throwing together 2 units of daemonettes and 4 units of seekers with a herald, throw in a unit of 5 furies and you have yourself an incredibly cheap full formation! That means re-rolls and choose-your-own warpstorm table and very sticky fingers when it comes to holding objectives. I find most of the auxiliaries are so expensive so why not get 45 points instead of 500? Gives amazing bonuses, who needs fateweaver anymore
My full list goes something like this
Herald of Slannesh
Be'lakor
KoS
2 units of 10 Daemonettes
4 units of 5 Seekers
1 unit of 5 Furies
1 decked out Daemon prince of Slannesh
I find KoS works AMAZINGLY with Be'lakor, Be'lakor just flies around using invis on the keeper making a cheap HQ like the KoS near untouchable while the Daemon Prince glances all vehicles to death with the lash of Slannesh. While the enemy army tries to deal with the 2 God-like flyers and untouchable KoS daemonettes and seekers/furies join the fray untouched in most circumstances and cause havock on infantry.
I think the Keeper of Secrets is incredibly underrated, 180pts with 50pts lvl 3 psycher makes him a God

If you only use Belakor as an invis battery, consider dropping him for heralds. You can take 3 Lv 2 heralds with greater rewards (or some mixture of lesser and exalted for Grimoire or portal or locus stuff. Maybe a mount for one to go with the seekers).
Gives 6 levels, and you have a solid expectation to get Invis every game. Also gives you a stronger troop unit, look out sir protection, and more total offense. If you like the flying shrouded banesword aspect keep it, but I find the heralds are usually a better pick for just Invis utility.
Slaanesh is great partly because you can do that. The access to telepathy by other parts of your army frees you from the Belakor tax that the other gods get to pay for invis. He's decent, but for the points...not the most efficient. IMO anyway.

but you wouldn't be able to take the demonic incursion if you took more heralds as you only get one per formation.

Only problem with heralds is there is no garentee for invis, aswell as being incredibly prone to blast templates, their toughness can get them wiped off board easy

This is not a legal way to build the demonic Incursion though if you dont have info that I dont have. The Flayertroupe (Slaanesh Core) is a herald, plus a total of six units of Daemonettes or Fiends. The Seekers come from the Aux formation Grand Cavalcade, no mix and match unfortunately

Whips of Agonizing seems to be auto include on any Melee FMC. Being able to Shred your AP2 attacks on single wound models ensures you kill, on multi-wound models, your high initiative means you can effectively nullify their attacks.
