Nice work for 1/100 scale.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I really like the early cruiser tanks, fun vehicles.

Does look very nice, was curious when these came out as to why these ones, and not the ones you are likely to want more of.

I have a BF BAR force, well just the box they did, that I'd like to upsized a bit but will wait until the rest of the cruisers and ideally the Mk VI are in plastic.

Not holding my breath.

But having put a quartet of PSC Tigers together today I seriously hope its PSC who make them first

Cruiser MkVI (Crusader) missed Blitzkrieg, so would only work for North Africa lists. A9/A10 work for either BEF or 8th Army, although the lack of plastic Vickers Mk VI light tanks make an all plastic BEF BAR impossible.

Have two boxes of A9/A10 inbound to reinforce some Cruiser MkIVs Thanks for the inspiration.

I think Leopard was referring to the light tank by "MK VI"' not the cruiser tank with the similar sounding designation.

I think you're right. No one said British tank designations were easy...

Try working with Germans who have 10+ different variants for the same tank and you'll see they're far from the hardest designation.

Was actually thinking of the other one in the BAR lists, the Mk1 and Mk 2 cruisers (A13?).

That said the little Vickers is in the same boat, and more useful generally.

Then again my way of designating them tends to be along the lines of pointing, saying "that one" then looking in bewilderment at the armoury trying to work out which one it is, its generally whichever one is the worst for the situation

And there you have the crux of the problem...

There is the A13 MkI, also known as the Cruiser MkIII. It had the Christie suspension, but the A10 looking turret.
Then there is the A13 MkII, also known as the Cruiser MkIV, which had the Christie suspension AND the newer Crusader looking turret. (This one you can get in plastic through Zvezda BTW, and does make the Blitzkrieg BAR list as a +15 point upgrade).

The Africa BAR list (Hellfire and Back) does seem to be more flexible, with options for full A9/A10 platoons (not just A13), and with Light MkIV being optional.

I'm perfectly fine with the Zvezda A13 tanks. If PSC would produce some Light MkIV and Crusader I-III tanks, I'd be ecstatic.

German tank designations feel like a cake walk in comparison.

Except it wasn't really a "Crusader looking" turret. The Cruiser IV's turret was just the one from the MkIII with additional spaced armour panels similar to the schurzen later fitted to German tanks.

???
Which is exactly what distinguishes it as looking like a Crusader...

I think I may never look at a British tank again, scared now...

But using the BF paint guide I finally get to use that fluorescent green on something

I came to love the A13 from World of Tanks, and have a soft spot for that vehicle now.
Very similar to this tank minus the deck guns.
