So the relics/artefacts/super gear of 7th edition codices seem to have different wording depending on the book.

So which books allow you to equip more than one of these uber rare items on a single model? And which limit you to only one?

For example:
I've been running my Grey Knight Librarian with the Soul Glaive + Liber Demonica (doesn't replace a weapon). Then I saw a post by someone that equipping more than 1 is illegal, so I went to double check my codex and to my surprise it does indeed appear to be the case that I cannot equip more than 1 even when one of the items is not replacing a weapon.

So it made me wonder, is everyone else aware? And if so which codices/supplements/etc are the exception to this only 1 per model rule.

Look at the very beginning of the section of the codex featuring the units. Generally, the "army name" Armory is right before the FOC. That page will tell you how many relics a model may take. There should also be an entry on the unit's Datasheet. For example, Necron Overlords may take one item from the Artifacts of the Aeons list.

Poor old Chaos Space Marines appear to be able to take more than one relic per model (provided the maximum of one of each relic is adhered to), however as they each replace a weapon (even the ones that are not weapons per se), they'd be limited to two each.

Codex Chaos Space Marines say that they can replace one weapon, not two.

Right you are! My mistake, I read that exact same line as the model can replace a weapon with a relic. So yes, that does limit them to one per model.

The standard Orc dex only lets you take one per army, which is sad, because our relics are actually pretty damn good. Well, a couple of them are. I'd love to stack da lukky stikk with da finkin' cap, but sadly I can only choose one.
