I've got a Questoris knight styrix and I want the trims to be white, the problem is that white on its own doesn't look metallic. Now the easiest thing to do would be to add some battle damage but I want it to look squeaky clean as if he just rolled out of production and got polished.
How would I achieve this effect?

Try Vallejo Metallic Medium... it's essentially white metallic paint.

It would be more accurate to call it a pigment free metallic paint. It only appears white due to the mica flakes in the medium. I would probably mix it with white paint first.

Do they do colored metallics? I sort of want something red, but more a reddish metal, and less "Blood Angels wear metal, and it's painted red."

Tamiya and Gunze both do rather vibrant metallic reds, they are alcohol based acrylics so they don't mix well with the water based acrylics we often use (Citadel, Vallejo, P3, etc).

Coat d'Arms still make the old Citadel colored metallics.

They have a metallic blue but I don't recall a metallic red in the coat d arms range (though could be wrong, I don't buy them because I don't think anywhere local carries them).

I know they had a range of colored metallics (green, blue, purple, etc.). I would be surprised if they didn't have a red metallic. If not, a good reddish copper mixed with some red paint or ink should work.
EDIT: Vallejo does have a metallic red in their Model Air line. It is Signal Red. I don't have the color nor have I seen it in person so I'm not sure how 'red' the color actually is.
