Need a large axe big enough for a greater daemon. Something two handed, or overly large enough that it should be two handed. Like the Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage's axe.
Only... that bit is very hard to come by.

An axe that big would be relatively easy to make out of plasticard and plastic/brass rod, and then you can make it exactly the right size and shape to fit your greater daemon's size and pose.
Go to the toy section of a store - look at any of the "barbarian" type action figures - some are bound to have an axe you can use as a base.
