There has been a points shuffle in our planned apocalypse game and now it looks like this:
Chaos SM/Daemons -4000pts
Khorne daemonkin -2000pts
Ork -4000pts
Vs
Imperial guard -2500pts
Imperial knight -2500pts
Eldar/tau -2500pts
Blood angels/necron -2500pts
I have never fielded this many points before so I don't know whether this is good:
An'ggrath -888
Lord of skulls -
-skull hurler
-daemongore cannon
-1043
Chaos knight -
-khorne
-420
Be'lakor -350
Herald of khorne -
-juggernaught
-exalted reward
-locus of fury
-150
Bloodletters -
- +10
-bloodreaper
-greater reward
-225
Lord of crusade formation:
Abaddon -265
Khorne lord -75
Nurgle lord -80
Slaanesh lord -80
Tzeentch sorceror -75
Cultists -
-khorne
-70
Cultists -
-nurgle
-70
Cultists -
-Slaanesh
-60
Cultists -
-tzeentch
-60
The plan is for an'ggrath, the lord of skulls and the knight to rush forward and cause havoc. Be'lakor and the herald are to invis/grim whichever big guy needs it the most. The herald can either go with the bloodletters or on his own when needed. Each of the lords will go with their respective cultists, the khorne lord I am taking as a word bearer (we have discussed it and I am allowed to do this) so I will get him as close as possible in order to reack havoc. Abaddon will go where needed, raining maelstorm disastor down over the board.
Can this list survive at such a high point game? Is it worth taking the cultists and bloodletters as cushions?
