Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

I read something a long time ago about fmc and fgc who start flying in reserve come on on turn one in an apocalypse game.
Is this true or am I going crazy making up rules? Or is it some special game type?
I have looked around and I can't find anything.

It may be an old rule. The current system does not allow for the Flying Creatures to be Swooping while in Reserves.

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?

Currently everything that you put in reserves comes in on turn 1., except for any GMC or super heavy, which will come in on turn 2

In apocalypse games, FMC and FGC (and flyers, for that matter) can arrive on any turn from Strategic Reserves, including first turn.
