To save space/money/paint I've decided to make my rhino chassis vehicles (rhino, razorback, whirlwind) interchangeable. Where can I get whirlwind turrets? Can't seem to find any, not counting the horrendously overpriced auctions on eBay...

Check 3rd party companies. I know puppetswar has some, probably a few of the other guys as well.

Hi tech did a rocket turret that would work, don't know if they still make it though.

odd China recast catalogs sell just the bits made to make the whirlwind turret. So smart.

I love the look of those rockets, they look big enough to be a barrage weapons

There's the Space Marine Air Defence Turrets from Forge World:

Or you could make your own out of plasticard and 40mm square bases:

Kinda expensive, though.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

Try for Land Speeder Typhoon or Valkyrie rocket pods if you can find them on ebay or bits stores. Depends how cheap you want though. There probably isn't anything cheap in converting 40k mini's unless you're really good at model builing and can scrounge a ton of interesting junk from your home. With plasticard and random crap (like the lids off toiletry bottles that can be re-purposed into rocket tubes) you make all sorts but you'd need a bit of skill or be prepared to figure out as you went and put in some time.

But for a little investment you could find 3rd party missile racks, either stand-alone or from cheap toys or models you can break them off of.

I'd recommend sitting down with your best friend google for a few hours and getting comfortable with image search. Keep looking, you'll find loads of appropriate parts to buy or idea's to steal and copy :-D
