I am making a list that will use the Scarblade Strike Force do you guys have any tips?

I plan on assembling different list on this thread as we discuss tactics, thanks in advance!

I don't have anything to offer, but I'm headed this direction myself and will keep you posted. I'm starting with a small CAD of grav bikers to get my head around those tactics, then I'll probably add the Stormbringer formation (Scouts, Speeders, Storms) and start running the bikes as a Hunting Force to claim the Scarblade features, and eventually shift toward the Stormlance Demi-Company to give the move-shoot-move feature a try. It will take some time to collect, build, and paint, but I'm thinking it will provide cool tactical options at every point value along the way.

Sstormlance is best way to run it, Hunting Force is fluffier.

Go with the battle company, OS is just too powerful to ignore.

I plan on battle company and the scout one that lets them disembark after moving 12. Super powerful, even if it just gives the sergeant a combi- melta or something like that.

Scarblade SF doesn't get free transports so I don't really value the demi-company as its core. I think Hunting Force and Stormlance are better fits because they make your bikers and tactical marines much deadlier.

Hunting Force is arguably worse than running a CAD bike list, and Stormlance is not all that at the end of the day - MSM is cute but once the Rhinos are gone, its not as useful anymore, and your opponent can deny the rerolls by simply waiting for T5 to move unto the objectives (assuming you're playing Eternal War missions).

Demi Company's the way to go.

I think we should also consider the Spearti strike force. It's an effective tool to troll units around the table. I used it to prevent a squad of wraiths from assaulting anything for 3 turns.

CAD Bikers don't get re-roll INT tests for H&R and don't get re-rolls to Hit and to Wound against specific targets. That's a huge boost in offensive output, especially against MCs/GMCs. The Hunting Force core units also include everything you'd normally run in a regular list with minimal tax, especially given that attack bikes are good units.

Stormlance is also good within the context of a SBSF. You get a squad of bikes with Eldar like MSM and your tactical squads and devestators essentially get Battle Focus with the added bonus of re-embarking. That's huge for a marine army. The benefit extends well beyond the Rhinos being alive. Opponent screening off an objective? Rapid fire a hole in his line and then run in to contest. Pop in front of a LOS blocking wall, shoot, and then run back behind it. The argument that your opponent can deny rerolls is spurious. If you're opponent is staying off objectives to deny rerolls, he is also ceding board control to you. That in itself is a huge advantage.

Demi-Company is still ok, but its much better within a GSF with free transports. In the SBSF you don't really get any benefits to firepower or mobility by taking the demi-company over the other two.
