What bases have you gone for with your cavalry models?
Do you use the slim bases which are essentially the old cavalry bases with rounded edges?
Or do you go for the more oval ones?

I plan on rebasing my undead cavalry on the oval bases, as I never liked the bike bases and judging by the pictures of AoS, GW has also gone with oval bases. Latest indicator: https://www.games-workshop.com/de-DE/Lord-Heldraths-Chaos-Deathtide

There most likely isn't any "standard" yet, but someone sent me this link for converting to round/oval bases. You may find it useful.

Oval is really pretty and goes well with larger ovals for larger models.

The bike bases are horrible imo if I ever make more 40k bikes they'll all be on oval bases too! Posting on my iPhone now but I'll edit with an imagine of my rebased Empire outriders on Ovals. They look so much better.
There are 2 sizes, the smaller one is good for regular cavalry and the larger for monstrous cavalry. :-)

Beautiful stuff Bottle!
Here's my example to show how oval bases go well with rounded one. Picture from a skirmish campaign with my Blood Elves.

Oh wow! Your Blood Elfs look incredible. We need more pics! (Maybe in the AoS projects thread?)

My army is in France and I'm currently working and living in South Korea. I'd love to start a project thread when I come back though. I'm pretty good with photoshop too and I hope I can make something as neat looking as your Desperados!

Thanks, and lucky you! I lived and worked in South Korea for 5+ years and loved every single day I was there :-)

When I get around to re-basing my cavalry I'll use the slim bases. Less of a footprint.
