Has anyone ever considered proxying Kalbite Warriors as Dark Reapers? Would you change anything to the model if you did?

Just give em some suitable looking guns and blam, evil(er) looking dark reapers.

You might as well proxy the entire codex with the Craftworld counterpart. Just use Guardians as Kalabites when you're allying stuff in just for the sake of Raiders and Venoms.

Covens is an okay supplement at least...

I think the fantasy stuff can make some great conversions.

I however do not mix my gorgeous Dark Eldar with that of pure Eldar filth.

I'm thinking maybe use Eldar Dore avenger body with some DE skulls and perhaps those executioner heads. Any idea about the guns? I'm sure I could make some, but I'm not sure whether I'll have the bits for them

I went with stub carbine combined with the waver serpent missile launcher, I'll probably use some pointy DE thing for the antenna

I would use either the Disintergrator or the Dark Lance with the forward barrel cut off for the Dark Reapers (both are from the Kabalite sprue).

Yeah, the Reaper Launcher is much "heavier" than a Splinter Rifle. Closer to a Missile Launcher than a Rifle.

If you use Kalabites, you'll have to really tone/grind down the spikes and such. Aspect Warriors are very ascetic.

I used the skulls from Executioners on my Kalabites, and it looks good, but even then, the Kalabite looks to light for a Reaper (mine were supposed to still be Kalabites so this worked - mine are overly enamoured with Death Jesters...).

It'll work, but try to make them look more polished and heavier.
