So I'm going with some buddies of mine to a 40k tournament called Crucible 5, I've been thinking about army lists and how to try and counter some of the cheese Im more than likely to see with my Daemonkin Army. Heres my list with some side notes of what I'm thinking with this army

Khorne Daemonkin

Slaughter Cult

HQ-Chaos Lord-Korlath Axe of ruin-
(So for the tournament they are using the ITC ruling of Blood tithe where Summoned units can choose to be in gliding or swooping making the summoned bloodthirster a little bit more viable) but my thought here is to keep him cheap and pump him into a daemon prince summoning a bloodthirster. Then if he dies again in Daemon Prince form i get another bloodthirster for some added threat.

(One of the few forms of anti air and lobber of large pie plates-Ive debated on whether or not to take the Flamethrower option but hate when I can't wound Imperial Knights-Wraithknight)
Heavy-3 Forgefiend
(When looking over my list i thought about what i can bring to strip hull points off things fast and decided on the forge fiends to help with the dedicated transports, This way I'm not wasting 3 or more Soul grinders trying to open one transport.)

Overall this list is at 1810 points

Im mainly gonna concentrate on saving blood tithe points for summoning Bloodletters/Flesh Hounds/Skull Cannons and maybe a Daemon Prince out of my chaos lord.

I feel like its a solid list but at the same time Ive got some doubts. Lemme know what y'all think about this.

I guess I would use the spare points to give the possessed a rhino. A bit more mobility is always handy .


I can't quite stomach the sacrificial Lord, but I'm sure it will work.
