Does anyone know if there's a difference in sprue bits between the two boxes?

They're the same box, same sprues. With magnets or pins you can have models that fill both roles. Or have a ton of spare bitz.

What is the difference between the two configurations? Weapons? Breastplates?

Destroyers are geared toward ranged combat, and have heavier weapons. Breachers have weapons more suited to short range and close combat. The lighter weapon fit lets them have more armor. The torso has extra armor plating, and the chassis has armored skirts over the tread units.

The answer is always google it and then magnetize it. Or in this case just go to the gw site and buy some magnets. They will cost a fraction of these models.
