PrintableScenery.com have just launched an Indiegogo expansion campaign for their Winterdale range of printable 28mm (scalable) medieval / fantasy scenery range.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/winterdale-2-medieval-fantasy-citadel-collection/x/13383988#/

PrinableScenery.com's original kickstarter campaign succesfully completed on January 7th raising just over NZ$40,000. The new campaign being run this time on Indiegogo (see above for link) expands the range with 10 planned new buildings and additions to the existing range and includes things like a 'Dock and accessories', a graveyard, a chapel, a Merchant's house and stall, as well as some rather nifty particularly steampunk buildings such as an observatory and a steampunk outpost.

Three levels of the original designs from the Kickstarter campaign form the main perk levels in the Indiegogo campaign with the highest perk level being US$75 for the main perk level plus any of the stretch goal rewards being reached, whilst the lowest perk level (The Hamlet) is just is just US$15. Backers of the original Kickstarter Winterdale campaign can chose to just go with the stretch goals as a US$40 perk.

The stretch goals are:

$3,000 Docks and accessories

$6,000 Steampunk Outpost

$9,000 Graveyard

$12,000 Observatory

$15,000 Turret cupola

$19,000 Castle hoarding system

$22,000 Chapel

$26,000 Merchant House and Market stalls

$30,000 Gate and Drawbridge

$35,000 Barbican

Hopefully if this gets the backing it deserves it is hoped that PrintableScenery.com will add more to the list either as additional stretch goals or perhaps add ons.

Amazing news, the 'Docks and accessories' stretch goal has been unlocked by Matt at PrintableScenery.com.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/winterdale-2-medieval-fantasy-citadel-collection/x/13383988#/story

Also the remaining stretch goal rewards have been re-arranged as follows:

$3,000 Steampunk Outpost

$6,000 Castle Hording System

$9,500 The Observatory

$12,000 Turret Cupola

$15,000 Merchant and Market stalls

$18,000 Chapel

$20,000 Graveyard

$23,000 Gate and Drawbridge

$26,000 Barbican

The second stretch goal (the Steampunk Outpost) is just $429 away from being unlocked.

3D printing is going to become an ever increasing part of tabletop wargaming and RPGaming.

If you have a 3D printer or are considering getting one or indeed know someone you could sweet talk into printing these models this is a great crowdfunding project to back IMO.

These look pretty incredible, but how much would it cost to print some of these ad a decent resolution?

Good question.

I will this evening run through the print set ups and costings on my computer and list the filament weights required and the costs involved for some of the models on my Cel Robox printers (not the cheapest I know but definitely my preference). I will try and list for 28mm, 15mm and 10mm, would this help? Also what resolution would you like listed, 100 microns and 200 microns?

Also great news about the 3 additional free houses.
