Hello all,

I just gotten my hands on a bunch of 40K chaos space marine and daemons, from a friend who had them in storage for many years.
I had played 40k ages ago when I was young, and now that I have kids who are 9 and 12, I want to share the hobby with them. With the bunch of CSM and Daemons that I got my hands on we have enough to make three 1500 point armies (not sure if they are going to be any good, but at least they are going to exist, and we will paint and play them together...

So here is part of the loot:


Since I've stopped playing back in the days of 2nd edition, there's quite a bit, in terms of army building and of gameplay, that I'm not completely familiar with, so I'll probably lurk around here for rules questions. And painting advice...

Tomorrow we go to the hobby store to get paints and brushes, and we chose who is doing what.

I've got Abaddon, Huron, Kharn, plus a Terminator Lord, a Lord on a Juggernaut, a demon Prince and a Dark Apostle, so there is already quite a few threads that can be used to construct three different armies, fluff-wise, from the top down...

I also have 50 marines, 22 Berserkers, 10 thousand sons, 10 plague marines, 10 raptors, 7 bikes, 5 possessed, 11 Termies...

So a lot of choice!

Not a lot in the way of vehicles, though, but that can come later as we build along...

Just a start, but I'm going with the Alpha Legion, my son is going full Iron Man with his Khorne marines, and my daughter is inspired by My Little Pony...

I'm the only one inspired by the fluff, it seems...
