Just picked up two and I was wondering how to build them.
Any thoughts on which kit would be a better build?
I was also wondering what everyone did with the necrons if built as a doomsday ark.

I took my "fetal warriors" and trimmed the footrest to fit in a slotta base. Extra warriors!!!

You can use the extra ones as part of terrain.
Hell, my plan is to magnetize parts of the Ghost Ark so that the Warriors themselves can ride on it.

Depends on what you need. The ghost arc is amazing, AV13 transport, LOADS of shots and can repair warriors. The doomsday cannon is also good if you lack anti armour, the blast really can wipe out any problem quads, but I would go with ghost arcs for as many groups of warriors as you can afford first.

Flayed ones, broken robots edition.
Mix with a box of warriors, stuff from your bits box, particularly plenty of blade hands.
Distress the models with a hobby knife, texture paint lightly some rust texture on before base coating.
