Iron Hands Chapter Master on Bike with The Gorgon's Chain and a Thunder Hammer, a popular load out that I want to use, but I don't know what to take with it. There are two obvious choices: Bikers (which are nice becayse they are troops and cheap), or a Command Squad on Bikes (which are nice because of the stat line, weapon options, and Apothecary).

Right now I think the Command Squad would be better, but I don't know what an effective load out would be. Power Weapons? I honestly don't know what synergises with a Thunder Hammer. Thoughts?

A command squad should be spamming Special Weapons. After the fact, you should charge. Plus a Chapter Master with a 3+++ is awesome.

However, note that he's durable enough to attack stuff on his own. Any squad he's with should be an escort, not a retinue. You want to engage several targets a turn, after all.

You could just have him tank a wound of two for some grav bikers to help them get into range and then split them off to take out different targets, as Slayer-Fan123 said.

At least, that's how I'd run it.
