Was going to varnish my foam terrain but maybe I can just coat it in PVA? Or will it yellow over time?

well I haven't had any troubles doing it myself, nor seen anything turning yellow. Maybe just make sure you do a couple thin coats (drying well between obviously), I tend to use a spray bottle, bit messy but works well.

PVA glue can indeed go yellow over time, although that's going to depend somewhat on the different brands and/or how thickly you apply it.


The other problem is that even when set, PVA can absorb moisture from the air, so if you're somewhere prone to high humidity it can go soft and/or get sticky, which attracts dust.
