I've been playing with my light box. Need one more light and also need to learn more about how my camera works.

I can't figure out how not use Macro and if I use Macro on a tripod, I can't get the camera close enough. Any tips?

Looks like solid work to me. Maybe some more highlighting would improve the overall look, especially the eyes.

But there is one thing that bothers me:

Why in hell has the bloodsucker an ultrasmurf symbol on his knee?

HMmmm.
As far as the lightning/photography goes...
Your light box? Is there anything between the light and the model? Like material or paper? The light seems to still be quite bright IMO. It also kind of looks like the light source is behind the model rather than above/to the sides.....
What camera/lense you using? Mobile Phone? Point and Shoot? SLR?

Also yeah, why the Ultramarines symbol on his knee?!

This^. The lighting in a light box should be very soft, and bright, but not sear your retinas bright. If you do have tissue or something on the sides and top to diffuse the light, then you need lower wattage bulbs, or at least back them off till the light is correct. Without diffusion panels, it's not a light box, so if you don't have tissue or something else (a white shower curtain works well) covering sides and top, you need to take care of that. As for your camera, need to know make and model to be able to help.

It is a cardboard box with sides and top cut out and covered with Paper Towels. I'musing the 150W Industrial Clip on lights from Home Depot running 100W Daytime lights.

I think the searing light is the way I modified the image after the fact, LOL. I'm still learning about all of it.

The camera is a Canon Powershot s5 IS.

Good work. Red can be very difficult to paint, photograph, and highlight well. The only glaring thing that I can see is that the mouth grill looks unfinished.

For the Ultramarine logo on the knee pad you can always say that it was an honor mark after taking part alongside them in a successful campaign.

Here is more info on the Chapter, including markings, etc.
