I'm currently painting my Lucius the eternal and have been recommended to use ink on the parts that are purple (so mainly the cloth-type stuff between his legs). The colour I have used is slaneesh grey. I'm not sure if by ink they meant a shade or an edge paint, as there seem to be purple/pink ones for both types, and I didnt think to ask at the time, so what do you guys think I should go with?

Thanks.

They mean shade, some companies also have actual inks - they're strong toned washes.

Ah thanks. Are edge paints worth getting as well?

It depends on your painting style, I've tended to move to mixing highlights from my base colour and white (or yellow/bone)

Generally, yes, a sharp edge highlight looks better than not

Another question, for Slaneesh grey would I want carroburg crimson or druchii violet? I'm assuming the former as it's lighter but just making sure.

Oh and, for edge dachala lilac or fulgrim pink? I actually have no idea for thoes.

Personality, druchii - depends what you want it to turn out like. I'd probably thin it a bit to lighten it up, but purple is good.

For edge, i don't know either - purple for purple, pink for crimson washes
