Hi all,

I'm looking for some C&C on my first attempt at a "true scale" marine for my nascent IQ28 warband. I went with the grey knight kit as it seems the most gothic out of the box. I only have marines just now so I could not give a better comparison against human scaled minis. I suppose my most immediate questions are;
- Is he too big?
- Does the pose work? He is meant to be sweeping forward.
- Is the reliquary on his back a bit much?
- I need to sort out some sort of gorget for the neck as the head is just floating around. Can anyone suggest parts I could use?
- Do I need to GS the legs to make them power armour smooth or does it look alright as it?

Thanks in advance!

Honestly it currently looks like a Terminator with a backpack stuck on. The issue is that Terminator armour (especially Grey Knight Terminator armour) has a distinctive silhouette, and certain features that immediately mark it out as distinct from power armour.

Yes, filling in the gaps between the reinforcing bands would help in identifying the conversion as a True Scale Marine.

agreed^ grab some greenstuff and milliput, and make a 50/50 mix, and fill in them panels around the legs. the beauty of mixing milliput in means it cures faster, and can be cut and filed once dry. this will make them legs look a lot more like regular marines legs. if you really dont want to do that, then most of the heresy era termie legs are great for true scale because they look like regular marine legs without any work!

Thanks all. I'll pick up some greenstuff/milliput this weekend and give it a go.
