Using....what Provenances?
Abhuman Helots...and Feral Warriors, looking at upgrades?

Force Commander- dump the power armour. For the same price, you could have a Cyber-Familiar, which makes your iron halo into a 3+ invulnerable save. Only take power armour if you're sticking with your basic refractor field and don't expect to get punched with AP3 weapons.

A Master-Crafted Plasma Pistol is okay; BS4 with a reroll is a nice, accurate shot, and you're not wasting points rerolling a 2+.

The Grenadiers....... Hm.
One Meltagun and One Flamer is confused. As a rule, pair up matched braces of special weapons grenadiers - anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Since a squad can't split fire, two squads - one for crowd control and one for antitank - is better than two squads with a little capability at both jobs.

If looking to go into melee - and with WS4, blade and fury, you are, then for god's sake replace the feth-awful auxilia rifles with something - even if it's just auxilia pistols! Augmented Weapons would be quite tasty, if you can afford them.

Fire Support Squads - you can't go wrong with a set of missile launchers.

Ogryns - Not bad. but I'll garuantee that you'll lose at least one model hoofing it across the board. Logically, the one or two guys in front will be gunned down, so buying them power axes is a waste. Having one or two boarding shields in the front of a unit will save you points, give you an invulnerable save and defensive grenades, so might also take the sting out of a charge. 2-3 ogryns with power axes and a bonus attack each can still slap most opponents stupid in a fight.

Apothecaries - one each for the grenadiers....who's the third for?

The Ordnance battery.... can never go wrong with an earth-shattering kaboom.

Rapiers...... normally I'd say meh to multilasers; but you don't have the awesome option of shatter or phosphex shells in a quad launcher, and you don't actually have all that much fire support. Some Twin-linked S6 dakka might do you good for taking out rhinos and land speeders that footslogging melee infantry will struggle to catch.

Leman Russ - if it's a normal leman russ, you're snap-firing your hull mount. Can't remember if the multilaser is a free swap. If it is, it's a good idea - if not, stick with the heavy bolter.

The main weakness is a major lack of antitank. The only long-range tank killers are your artillery carriage and the leman russ - and the latter will do precisely jack to a flare-shielded Spartan. The meltagunners might help....depends how much armoured ceramite you normally see. Maybe a few meltabombs for those who can carry them might be good?

Sorry should have said all rifles are replaced by close combat weapons, I'll change so one squad has two flamers and one has two meltas. Yes abhuman helots and feral warriors are the provenances, that's a good change with the cyber familiar thanks. An apothecary is just getting thrown into one of the missile squads, you have to take a minimum of three. Sorry all the sergeants have melta bombs

Well, with a Medicae, Blade & Fury and Augmented Weapons, those grenadiers should be able to put up a decent fight even against Legion troops. Hopefully your fire support can keep opposing heavies busy.

The main problem, as noted, is going to be getting there. Running across 24" of no-man's land gives an opponent about three shooting phases to fill you full of bolter rounds first.

Can you think of a way around this?

You can get a pretty good disposable skirmish screen of levy for a small outlay of points. Other than that, Gorgon transports, I guess.

I thought grenadiers couldn't take Gorgons

I think you can IF it's a full strength unit (special weapon grenadiers et al).
