Trying to keep the Night Lords Army very close to the source material. As much fluff as I can.

Very little is out there on the types of armor preferred by the NLs. I know they were big on using dozer blades to bury their enemies.

Just curious if anyone has suggestions or ideas on which Heavy choices make the most sense fluff wise?

I am playing full Terror Assault Rites as well.

A Fire Raptor is a great just because choice. I think A sicarian would work as well, the flavor depending on what you need. Its a fast tank able to easily keep up with the formation. A squadron of vindicators is pretty scary too since they have a night fight turn to sneak forward and into range.

In the throne of lies audio drama, the entire legion gathers to assault a callidus temple. Landraiders, predators and vindicators all get mentioned as being used in their hundreds.

Fire raptor and Sicaran

While I agree with the fast vehicles idea, I still think that as a legion of space marines, they would still have access to every vehicle that the other legions did (beside unique stuff) and I know that Night Lords have used Vindicators before because of their pure destructive potential. So I think you can chose the vehicle that best supports your force, because the Night Lords would have used all of them.

They do have access to everything everyone else does. There are even entire heavy armor formations including superheavies. But they simply are not known for this. No one suddenly thinks Night Lords and immediately goes Fellblade. They probably think skulls, lightning, and jump packs. I think Imperial Fists and I think annoying yellow and shield toting infantry although I know they are more than that.
