As many of us already know, the "Core" formations for the Daemonic Incursion detachment are really, REALLY unit heavy. This almost forces you to play MSU. This got me thinking of how to even play some of them. I like Flesh Hound and almost have enough to filed the Murder Horde, with a unit of Letters just because I have one.

The Loci bonus also really makes you want to clump up. How viable would it be to place the Jugger Herald in 1 Hound unit surrounded by all the other Hound units. Essentially making it look like 1 big unit. the death ball scouts up, turn 1 "corrupts" as many objectives as possible. Turn 2 the Letters drop in (hopefully) and the Hound units split off in pairs to charge stuff.

What are some of the quirky things that can happen when you run 2+ units as if they were 1 unit? For example, having 1 model from each unit about the same distance from an enemy can prevent overwatch from denying the charge from happening. Sure the first unit that charges might not make it in, but it's partner unit suffered no casualties and can still make the charge.
