Haven't played in a few months due to school and work so I'm trying to get back in the swing of things. Ive always been a huge fan of Tzeentch and wanted to make a friendly Tzeentch list to play at my local store. I'm hoping the next campaign book for Curse of the Wulfen shows CSM some love but until then ill try and work with what I've got. So, heres my list

The general idea is that the Sorcerer accompany the Thousand sons and sits mid-field using divination powers to support the rest of the army. The CSM squads go to grab objectives while the Obliterators and Havocs deal with targets at a distance. The Chaos Spawn act as counter charge units to protect my more important units from close combat specialists and tarpit them for a turn or two. I wanted a heavy focus on psychic powers using the Herald with Paradox and the Horror squads. Im not sure how to finish out this list, maybe drop some points here and there to squeeze in a vehicle or more daemons? My typical competition is marines, orks, tau and other chaos armies

--Balestar of Mannon is also a spell familiar, so you don't that too.

With that said I don't see divination being super useful to the sorcerer, I think you should just take a spell familiar and roll on Telepathy for Psychic Shriek and possibly shrouding/invis. Biomancy is also not a bad choice.

Only other critiscism is that Spawn are fairly useless without someone strong to protect. The randomness sometimes mean they can't even kill a tactical squad, and not being Nurgle marked (which is fine for fluff reasons) means they're not as durable either. I'd drop them and get some screamers for your Disc Herald. They're just such a great unit, hard to pass them up.

If you have extra points maybe grab a second herald on a disc with grimoire.
