1. If a template weapon hits two squads in one shot, can I assault either squad that same turn?

2. Can the +1 armour save from the chaos boon table give me a 1+ armour save? It says no where that it has a limit.

3. Does moving flat out count in the shooting phase? Does that mean my dreadclaw can deep strike and then move 18" instead of shooting in the same turn as it's a hoverer? I know that may be a stupid question but I read somewhere online it could.

4. If I cause a wound with a pinning weapon in over watch, does the assault squad have to take a pinning test? If they fail can they still assault?

Thanks.

From page 45 of the main rulebook:

In addition to the above, a unit that fired in the Shooting phase can only charge the unit that it targeted during that turn's Shooting phase.

Even if you can hit two or more units with the template, you only target a single unit (special rules may affect this).

For your second question, please see 'Armour Save' on page 8 of the main rulebook where they state that an Armour Save may never be better than a 2+.

1. The Assault Phase, Declare Charge, last sentence.
2. Shooting Phase, Maximum Save.
3. Correct. Deep Strikers cannot move further in the movement phase, but are allowed to move in the shooting phase.
4. Assault phase, Resolve Overwatch. Bolded sentence.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
