Does the 3++ granted from the new Impossible Robes wargear effect a chariot purchased for the herald to ride on?

After all, he can't leave the chariot.

The wording on the robes simply state that it confers a 3+ invulnerable save. Doesn't say model, or herald, just that in confers the save.

Granted I wouldn't want to put him on a chariot. It just makes him a huge vulnerable target. You're better off putting him on a disc and hiding him in a screamer unit
