Me and a friend have organised a little campaign for our local club, it is now a 4v4 chaos and ork vs everyone else. The first round of the campaign is 3 1500pts games, I don't normally play 1000-2000pts so let me know what you think:
Codex Daemon:
Bloodthirster -
-greater reward 270pts
Herald of khorne -
-exalted reward 85pts
Bloodletters - 100pts
Bloodletters - 100pts
Codex CSM:
Be'lakor - 350pts
Heldrake -170pts
Chaos knight -
-khorne
-dirge caster 425pts
-1500pts
The plan is for the knight to be invissed and grimmed by the herald and be'lakor just to have a model I know is not going to die. The bloodthirster will push up with the knight and be'lakor to deal some damage (which bloodthirster should I take? I could take a D thirster for the tank popping abilities), the herald and bloodletters can go eat any infantry near by as well as the heldrake.
Is this any good for the points value? My first game is up against an IG player who normally fields a list full of leman russ varients and tank hunters as well as a dark angels detachment so he can have the melta drop pod unit.
