I know this may sound like a stupid question seeing that the 7th edition DA codex dropped only about a year ago, but I was considering putting together a Hammer of Caliban formation over time. Since it's probably going to be around $350 (including paint), I won't be buying it all at once but probably over the matter of a few months. Would it be safe to invest the $350 over time for this formation based on the release schedule of new editions and codices?

Thanks in advance!

You'll probably be fine, there are a lot of other codices that should get attention before they get back to DA. The key word there is should.

And even if the formation goes away, odds are you can still use the minis in a normal list.

You might just need to add some tac squads or something to play.

Despite the outcry about the Deathwing, it is one of the...better ways to run Terminators.

Ravenwing is pretty bloody awesome though.

Indeed - what sort of bastard would want to use their codex?
