As the title explains, I'd like some advice on how I can convert the existing Scout Sniper kits to prone postures. My idea is to convert a group of Scouts into Sniper/Spotter pairs with a heavy bolter team and some boltgun/shotgun pairs for support. However, as all of the postures are standing or kneeling, I'm at a loss as to how to get started.

So if anybody has a link to a tutorial or has tried this themselves, I'd be much obliged if you could point me to it as my google-fu is all used up :(

That could be very difficult, as a prone shooter has much of his body bent and twisted differently from a standing shooter. Unless you can cover a lot of joins with camo cloaks or whatever.

I suspect it would be much less work to take an existing prone sniper model (e.g. GW's Catachan sniper) and convert it into a SM scout.
