The moment I saw a black piece sitting on the side, after moving my freshly sprayed miniatures, making close inspection...
Well it's not a head or part of basing ...
IT'S a Raisin? ...

I was once very hungover and in bed. I let out a much needed bum trumpet under the covers. Some time later I rolled over and had a mini coronary when my leg hit something moist and cold. ....
Thankfully it was only a bottle of Gatorade my loving wife had put there for me.

We were once so close to heaven, St. Peter came out and gave us medals; declaring us "The nicest of the damned".

Proposing to my wife, knowing she'll say yes (she helped pick out the ring, after all), but still worried I might flub the line or lose my balance or otherwise looking like an idiot and ruining the moment.

Just now, actually, when I was setting up my dad's new computer, I was nervous of two things:
1. He would catch me and yell at me
2. The computer would not run windows 7
Well, here's what happened
I turn it on, and it boots up. The 'Welcome' screen says "Windows 7 home premium" (Big sigh of relief)
The specs are:
8.00GB RAM
2.4 GHz processor
I tell Dad the specs, and he says "I don't want you breaking it, so don't touch it without my permission" (in a frustrated but in a way where he was not yelling). (another big sigh of relief, I thought he was gonna yell at me).

I seem to have problems answering a phone. Every time I have to call someone, I get a script ready, so I can read it instead of improvising and losing track of what I'm saying.

I also have some problems answering the phone too. Sometimes, when I call my mom at school, I'm afraid she's going to start yelling at me.

When I was riding my motorcycle I got hit by a car and couldn't feel my foot afterwards, then I realised that I could walk on it and I hadn't broken it.

Surprised there aren't more encounters with death here. When I was young I remember falling out of a tree. I used to climb trees almost daily, and that was the only time I fell. It had been raining and the tree was wet, I got pretty high up and then I'm not sure what happened, I must have slipped and ended up falling. Incidentally one of the lower branches had be sawn off at a sharp angle like a chisel, so it was just a big spike pointing upwards. I could easily have fallen onto it and been impaled, or hit the ground and broke my neck, but remarkably neither of those things happened. The sharp branch narrowly caught on the back pocket of my jeans, which ripped through in a big L shape, but it was enough to force the branch in and under my belt, which caught me before I hit the ground, and left me hanging there by the ass of my pants; aside from a scratch and a pretty severe wedgy... surprised and happy to be alive. I don't recall exactly how I got down, but I know it wasn't easy.

Getting changed with my young (2 year old) son after a swimming lesson. In the 10 seconds while I was pulling my trousers up, another toddler backed him off the edge of the counter I was changing him on, and he fell backwards and landed on his head on a tile floor. The two seconds between him hitting the floor and starting to cry were the longest of my life.

Any time I mistake something in the corner of my eye for a spider; which is often. Once or twice it has been a spider. Fired clay building blocks were defecated.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

That happens to me a lot too. I also have this really annoying thing where I open my eyes and I see a very realistic hallucination of a spider in front of my face, then it slowly disappears. I thought I was going mental, but apparently it's quite common, and caused by floaters in your eyes which resemble spiders, and your brain kindly fills in the rest. Always scares the hell out of me when it happens though.
