Subject: [1850] - Crimson Slaughter / Daemons - Daemon list using leadership shenanigans

Okay I have been thinking about running a list that functions off of synergy and leadership effects. Running Daemon allies out of the Curse of Woofbutt inspired me when I noticed exactly how the doombell is quite possibly the coolest thing since sliced bread. I started tossing through my books looking for anything that has leadership effects.
So far I have the fledgling stages of an idea. Crimson slaughter with daemon allies. What can you think of that would flesh out this idea? I was thinking Maybe a few units of 1ksons and psychic shriek. I don't want to rely on fear due to the high concentration of atsknf and fearless.
I need Ideas. Leadership penalties and things that trigger leadership tests. Automatically Appended Next Post: So far
Crimson slaughter
MoT sorcerer 75
2 1k sons squads 150
tallyband 525
mostly nurglings
20 man plaguebearers
herald with doombell
squad of furies 45

Tsons only roll tzeentch spells, they cant get psy shriek
May be Belakor with his full telepathy and bonus Warp charges for enemy morale fails (he can be taken as command slot in incursion) and two sorcs on bikes with spawn

I thought that since you automatically get your patron gods primaris power that you could roll on one of the other tables. that is how all of the chaos players where I play do it. I am not trying to argue I am actually interested if we are doing it wrong. Automatically Appended Next Post: and belakor does look sexy nice...

Be'lakor would be good.
The CSM book specifies that you MUST up to half your powers on your god's table, with a minimum of 1. So thousand son Aspiring sorcerer always gets his power from the tzeentch csm table.
Daemons don't have that restriction requiring them to roll on the table, so maybe that's what you are referring to.

this is how it is explained to me:
When you take Thousand Sons you have MoT. MoT grants the Tzeentch primaris power no matter table or tables you roll on. If you then Pick Telepathy to roll you end up with the Tzeentch primaris power and a roll on telepathy. Two powers, one is Tzeentch, 50% Tzeentch rule is thus satisfied.
Is that Incorrect? If it is I will pull pink horrors instead.

No that's not correct. It specifies you must "roll" on the table, which is not how the primaris works. You get the primaris because of Chaos Psychic Focus. If you read the actual book it's pretty explicit.
In fact if thousand sons could roll on telepathy I think you'd see a lot more people using them.

So everyone here is doing that wrong. Good to know. The word roll proves you are RAW correct. Sooo no 1k sons. Might replace them with plague marines
