Hello,

We had recently a great opportunity to paint the heavily weathered, vehicle-centred Blood Angels army. Take a look at the battle-worn sons of Baal, and see more pictures in our gallery.

How do you like this kind of approach to Blood Angels?

I love the weathered look on that dread, well on all of it really. Great job.

Great weathering and nice take on the Sons of Baal

Baron, don't forget to talk about the SEALs and Marines you habitually beat up on 2 and 3 at a time, as you PM'd me about.

Needs more focus on actual brushwork and detail highlighting. rather than 90% airbrush, especially on the troops. Vehicles and droppod look very nice though.

Fething beautiful. Possibly the best army I've seen from you guys!

Looks great. I really like the look of the weathering on the drop pod.

The only thing that looks odd to me is the rust on the Stormravens as you don't normally see rust like that on aircraft. They tend to get oily, and chipped, but they tend to corrode differently due to the different types of metal used.

Stern Iron Priest with Thrall Bodyguard

Some really nice stuff here.
The rhino and dread looks amazing.
Some of the guys look filthy in a chaotic way rather than worn and weathered. Guess they have been through a rough campaign.
The really clean white winged sang guard in the midst of these is a nice touch to show of their status in the army.

Edit: I wish the black was more black though, its gettinghard to tell if its non metallic metal or black as it is.

Really nice weathering on the vehicles! The drop pod and the death dred are the two standouts for me :-)

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)
