I finally got round to painting stiff, habajeeesus this is about 8 years overdue.

Went from primer to near completion in ~2 hours.
I used the following Citadel paints. Those which haven't been used yet are in brackets.

Macragge Blue
Druchii Violet
Calgar Blue
(Fenrisian Grey)
Retributor Armour
(Reikland Fleshshade)
Liberator Gold
Leadbelcher
Runefang Steel
Nuln Oil
Dryad Bard
Gorthor Brown
Agrax Earthshade
Castellan Green
Mephiston Red
Evil Sunz Scarlet
Wild Rider Red
Warboss Green
Steel Legion Drab
(Zandri Dust)
(Screaming Skull)
(Pallid Wych Flesh)

I used Druchii to shade the blue, It looks suprisingly good.

Your edge highlighting looks a bit thick in places, and the skull on the backpack might need to be hit with a wash, but looking good!

It would also help to get some more light for your pictures. Very harsh shadows make it hard to get a good look.

Plans for the army overall?

It's the crap camera, trust me.
I also lack funds for decent lighting but natural light seems to be the way to go.

I have a whole AoBR set, Vanguard Veterans, Devastators, a Drop Pod that basically doesn't fit together and a curious Sammael Coversion....

The drop pod needs a lot of work before I even attempt painting.

Also bear in mind that's a WIP

So, here's the Sammael conversion. Required filing, pinning, Liquid Grenstuff and losing a finecast hand.

Took six hours of battling.

It does look very much like your camera is artificially applying a filter to the images.
Check the settings.
