I'm sitting here wondering if you've ever seen the Ork Codex, or if you're trolling.

Because none of those units are competitive. The weirdboy is okay, if not ideal, but Gretchin will just die and Flashgitz won't kill anything worth a damn.

Boyz are your only decent Troop, I prefer the Shoota variety in a trukk with Reinforced Ram, but someone may mathhammer me out of that. Swap the Flashgitz for Lootas, too. Lootas are a far better HS choice, and you can take more of them because they are cheaper.

Well orks in general are only competetive at lower point levels. You can spam so many more troops.

At 500 points you can take

Warboss
Heavy armor, Headwoopas Killchoppa, BP, Kombiskorcha

10x Shoota Boyz
Nob with PK and BP TL shoota
Trukk

10x Shoota Boyz
Nob with PK and BP TL shoota
Trukk

Prolly not the optimal 500 point list but it is punchy, and 33 orks and 3 transport at 500 is a lot to deal with.

THey are shooty and have melee punch

I wouldn't bother with Boss Poles with units of 10 orks.

At this point level squeezing in a Mek with a Custom Mega Blaster is good value.
