Torture Victim in the Bowels of the Rock

I am new to the game and have a couple of questions on the effect of LoS on allocating wounds.
1. You have a 5 man unit and are targeting a 5 man unit in the shooting phase. All your models have LoS on 2 of their models, but one of your models has LoS on a third model in the targeted unit. Would all of your models roll to hit and to wound then any excess wounds (after first two models are destroyed) are placed on the third model?
2. What if only one of your models have line of sight on a targeted unit? Does your whole unit shoot or only the one model with LoS?

Thanks

In order to shoot, models must have LoS. In order to be hit, the model must be in LoS.

And in range of course.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

I assume you are talking about Line of Sight as opposed to Look Out Sir considering the direction the questions go.

If they were all firing the same Weapon, and the 2 models in LoS were the closest, the third model in partial LoS to the unit would then have any Wounds allocated to him (if any are still left). If target models 4 & 5 are out of LoS of all the shooters, they would not have Wounds allocated to him.

If you are firing different Weapons at the unit, each Weapon name group would operate based on what was currently there when they are chosen to fire.

Only the model with LoS gets to shoot. The same thing applies for Range.
