It's been awhile since I read DA fluff material, but isn't it that they kind of hate abhumans? I know they're perfectly happy abandoning the guard mid-battle if they find out that there's Fallen nearby, but was it in the fluff that they refuse to fight beside ogryn? Or just hate them?

The reason I ask is that I'm getting some guard and thinking about allying in my DA, would this be against the fluff?

And no, just in case you're wondering, I'm not putting Azzy and Zeke in with 50 guardsmen.

Seems fluffy to me. DA aren't always stabbing people in the back and such you know. They do act like normal if very devoted Marines most of the time.

I believe most SM hate mutants and heretics, but I think Ogryn get a pass for being just minorly mutated humans. I wouldn't say hate, but DA tend to keep to themselves, and while on occasion will help out the IG, still actively pursue their own mission.

There is one chapter famous for refusing IG the red scorpions. They committed tech herecy and combined a land raider with a big cannon just so they no longer needed IG artillery support.

Never seen such zeal in the dark angels.

It might also be worth it to look at the 6th edition allies matrix since that one had a separate Dark angels allies chart.

I didn't say refused, just that they often operate solo. Also, as OP stated, they've been known to ditch the IG mid battle to hunt the Fallen.

Following the fluff, Ogryns hail from super dangerous high gravity worlds which make them buff as hell.

Anyways, DA be jelly of Ogryns muscles.
