So i bought a whole bunch of space marine grey hunters and terminators at a steal of a price, the thing is the load out the the grey hunter pack leaders and almost all of the terminators aren't really to my taste. What do you guys think would be the best way to "fix" the issue?
Should I chop off the pieces I don't like and try to kit bash them somehow? Or maybe like... try pulling entire arms/heads offs? If I were to try and pull entire limbs off what would be the best method? I read that freezing them overnight helps pop the joint but thats only with crazy glue and I'm pretty sure these have been plastic glued...

A jewelers saw may do it for you.

Fine tooth and bladed saw.
Carefully with a sharp pointy blade on a hobby knife.

Both of these can remove bits.

It would help if you were more specific about what type of bits you want removed.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

This is why I never use plastic glue. The use of plastic glue should be considered heresy and by using it you are forced to sell give your models to a loyalist warhammer player and start collecting yu-gi-oh cards.

I always use a Medium C+ glue with zip kicker. If I don't like the pose I can pull the piece off, scrape away the glue, and start over.

With Plastic glue you got to break the parts off because it melts the plastic together. Like SQRT(-2) said, your best bet is a small jewelers saw or an exacto blade.

Give pulling/snapping them off at the joints a go; it won't work for every bond, but depending on how much glue was used and various other factors, it can still work even for plastic glue.

Past that, you'll want a sharp knife, just cut off the offending pieces, trying to keep them intact (even if they just then go in the bits box) and replace with the parts you prefer.

You don't need to cut at the joints. If, for example, you can't get a shoulder pad off an arm, cut the arm above the elbow (giving you an upper arm and shoulder pad stuck together), take the new arm and cut that at the same place, glue on the new lower arm and you're good to go.

If they are super glued, wet them then pop them in the freezer.
Water expands when it freezes & the cold will make super glue bonds more brittle.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!
