Just played my first game vs black templars and had a couple of questions.

1)Do they squads get to test for extra movement at the end of the shooting phase, or after each time they loose a casualty from a squad shooting them.  IE Three seperate units shoot at the templar squad causing one wound each.  The Templar player passes all moral checks.  Does he roll 3 d6, one after each casualty or 1 d6 of extra movement t the end of the shooting phase?

2)Does anything happen to the army after the emps champ dies.

3)What happens to the guys when they fail close combat.  Are they like normal marines?

1. It's a normal fallback roll, so there should only be one roll.

2. Nothing

3. I believe they are fearless in close combat.

Just writing to confirm Nobody's 3rd point; Templars are fearless in close combat. He was correct on the other two points too.

I think foil may be referring to the rule that aloows the Templar to move forward if they take a casualty in the opponen's shooting phase.

Recently I played a few games against a friend with a new BT army and we played that for each separate unit that hit them they got d6 movement forward, not just one. We were not sure if it was right but we agreed on that, much to the chagrin of my Necrons!

That's what I refered to as well. There were only two changes made to the normal morale test with Righteous Zeal:

1. Only one marine needs to die, instead of 25% casualties.
2. If you pass, the unit moves D6" (or more with chaplains) towards the nearest opponent.

Nothing was stated about having to take multiple tests due to getting shot multiple times.

Its 1 roll. Like nobody said its just a change to the rule. You only roll once per unit after all shooting against that unit has been done. The only difference is they make a moral test if 1 dies instead of 25%
