Anyone know what book it's in? I don't know if that's what it's called, but it's the army list which allows you to use tanks as troops and such. Also, does anyone know if it's GW approved like the Siege Regiment?

Cheers

Imperial Armour 2 update has the Armored Battle Group list. It is the only remaining army list that lets you field an all-Leman Russ list. There are also things like the Steel Host and Emperor's Fist formations, but they're really not as good as the ABG list if all you want to do is run tanks.

Plus, as a bonus, the ABG list still has the Hydra that ignores Jink saves!

Hell yeah cheers for that. I'll definitely buy it. A full tank army sounds hilariously op and fun.

It was in IA:7, which FW never reprinted when they amalgamated the Vraks books into one. As mentioned, IA1 has the only current Armored Battlegroup list, and while yes, it still has the old Hydras, it also still uses the old pricing for Russ tanks and upgrade options, so they're all 10-20% more expensive than normal. There is also the Assault Brigade list from IA:12 that allows for a mechanized Grenadier army, but it also uses the old prices for most things.

An all-tank list is also nowhere near OP, the ABG is fun, but really very poor in terms of performance, 7E's is *very* harsh on such armies.

That said, the whole concept of FW stuff needing to have some sort of "GW approval" is irrelevant, everything they make is "GW approved"...since they *are* GW. People used to make a big deal out of the "stamps" that FW would put on unit entries for a while, but they were only ever there to differentiate Apocalpse from Non-Apocalypse units, and there's no longer any difference so they don't bother anymore, they were never intended to prove or grant any sort of "officialdom", so don't worry about it

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Ah okay cool. If it's not as powerful as it sounds, I might just stick to my Siege Regiment
