for me it would probably be games...
though last year i had a 2TB HDD and about half of my steam list downloaded and its only came to about 1.2TB

Because my Virgin Media connection is about as stable as a 1-legged cow in a strong wind, and I don't want to eat into my data.

I hadn't thought of that. I had better get prepping. I need to get a hard drive for porn, a good supply of single malt and a freezer full of pizza. Hopefully I will finaly be able to finish my ork blob army.

Tell me about it haha. The first PC I ever built had a 60gb harddrive (I was 12).
My Dad and I were flabbergasted. Twelve gigabytes? You could go an entire lifetime and not need that much storage space!

My first PC had 1.5 Terabyte storage space. I never thought I would ever even get close to filling it, but now it is full. Took me only 3 years!

I think my first had 200-250 or so, maybe less. I still don't think I came close to filling it. At that age, Steam was barely even a thing anyone had heard of, and the largest game in my PC was WoW--which, come to think of it, might still be true.
