Subject: Heavy flamers and where to find them

So I've been thinking about adding a 1st Company Strike Force (don't remember if that's the exact formation name, but it's the one that brings 3-5 Terminies/Veterans) to my SM army consisting of 1 Sternguard Veteran Squad to act as a sort of bodyguard for my Librarius Conclave and two Terminator Assault Squads. I want to build them WYSIWYG, so I need a second heavy flamer for the Sternguard Veteran Squad. Only one comes in the kit. I saw the heavy weapon upgrade kit on GW.com, but 1) it's fine cast and I hate working with that stuff and 2) there are no hands modeled on, so I would need to do some conversion. Not that that is completely out of the question, but I'm just wondering what my other options are. Terminator kit? Ebay? Bits n' Kits?

You might be able to find some blood angels players that have extra heavy flamers on arms. Their tac marines come with the option of one.

Is 'Eavy Metal Calling?

So far as I know, the plastic kits that have Power Armour HFs are the Sternguard set and the BA Tactical Squad. However, the Space Wolf, DA, BA and regular Terminator kits all have them, and while it'll take a fair bit of conversion, they actually don't look too stupid on PA if you cut above the elbow and join the lower arm to a PA shoulder/shoulder pad. The weapon itself hides a lot of the 'wrong' forearm, so all you're left with is a margianlly bulkier elbow and hand, hardly the end of the world.

Due to scale creep, the old metal HFs from RT/2nd ed terminators can do in a pinch.
I think there is a LotD with one as well.

LotD would still be fine cast, though, wouldn't it? Thanks for the ideas! I need to check with my FLGS owner. Dude has more bits than any person should have. If he doesn't have them, the BA tacs are probably my best bet. I need more tacticals anyway, and it should take too much work to convert Blood Angels to Blood Ravens (as in, I would just have to use different pauldrons).
I have this wicked idea for equipping the Sternguard with 2 HFs and two combi-flamers, attaching my Librarius Conclave, and freaking daring my opponent to charge my warlord. 4d3 Wall of Flame just sound nasty.

If not finecset, the LotD would be metal. So not the best for conversion work. You might be able to hack up a SoB one, but that seems both a lot of work, and probably blasphemous.
BA tac box or sternguard seem the best place, as plastic is where you want to be.

If you just need one gun, you can find a Blood Angels or Sternguard Heavy Flamer for 6-7 bucks on ebay.

A bit expensive if you only want one, but FW have recently redone their heavy weapons with hands, including the Heavy Flamer set:
