I know the Leman Russ kit used to come with some ordinary headlights and not just the giant spotlight. I'd like to get a bunch of something like that for my tanks. Any suggestions on how/where to find them?
Thanks,
Steven

Yes, the old Russ sprues (back in the day when the kit came with separate road wheels) had a single headlight piece with three bulbs, but frankly it was pretty meh.
Ideally you'd want a pair of headlights to fit over the track guards. Hmm, the Rhino headlights might fit?

Forgeplanet sells 4mm clear resin headlights that fit perfectly. There is a YouTube video from buypainted where he uses them

Ordered these. With a bit of styrene tube that fits over them they should look just fine.
Thanks, Automatically Appended Next Post: Clang wrote:Yes, the old Russ sprues (back in the day when the kit came with separate road wheels) had a single headlight piece with three bulbs, but frankly it was pretty meh.

Rhino headlights should work also. And I was planning to cannibalize a predator kit for a bunch of other conversions, so that works well.
Thanks,

I just check my flgs bits bin, more often than not I have found tons of rhino head lights and spotlights. Maybe you can find some.

I'll have to ask about that. Thanks.
