I am going to an ITC tournament in a couple months and I've decided I wan't to bring my Space Marines to the tourny. The points limit is 1850 and it will be the first time playing a grand tournament and an ITC tournament. Here is my list, it is not quite at 1850 (I usually play 1500 points) so I am trying to figure out where/what to add to bring it to 1850. For competitive purposes I will be using Chapter Tactics: White Scars (who didn't see that coming?)

I am not a fan of grav cannons and guns on tactical marines. It limits them too much IMO, some may disagree but I don't want to do it.

Im really liking this list and looking to run something very similar probably would add the command squad with razorback or maybe instead of supression force run the anti air

I did some trials yesterday with a buddy and some proxied models.

I do like the anti air defense formation, however, I do not think I will be able to acquire those and the additional models I proxied to round out the list. I will stick to my suppression force until I finish off my list.

I trialed my list with a command squad loaded with 5 melta guns and gave them one of my drop pods, then changed one of my tactical squads that had that drop pod to a razorback w/ assault cannon. It worked really well.

Had my buddy play (proxy mind you) a 5 knight list. I did very well against that. I know it isn't the most competitive list but it was a good trial to see if I could handle that kind of threat.

Played his grey knight/SM draigo star list and did well against that (by well I mean destroyed it, as that list struggles with armor saturation).

Played agains't a tyranid a couple days ago without the completed list. His army had a few flyrants, a dimacheoron (spelling?) and lots of other smaller bugs. That was a little closer. His flyrants went uncontested and chewed up a lot of my free razorbacks and I made 2 fairly sizable mistakes (learning to pilot the army). but still won.

I like how this list performs right now. I have yet to play against necrons, eldar, or tau with it... sooooo we will see haha. I have a buddy who recently put together a eldar bike spam and another buddy who has white scar bike spam to play next (it isn't fratricide as my army is painted to be exorcists)

I think the command squad is a good fit and gives me the flexibility to deal with armor that the army was struggling with before.

How do you deliver the cents?

I don't, I have them advance with the rest of my army. They also can scout forward 6'' should I choose to use that ability from khan. Then as the army advances (or pulls back) I have been using the razorbacks as LOS blocking and creating hurdles. I may even forgo shooting with a razorback to flat out after my cent's shoot to cover them back up. With my Chaplin attached giving them ignore cover, they are not as reliant on a delivery method to negate cover saves.

It has worked so far.

i faced a white scar gladius, but the guy also took a skyhammer, all grav, put the chaplain with them and a hunters eye on it,

he finished in the top few of a major tournament recently. I strongly recommend it.
