Can anybody recommend a list of painting services that are run as a company (not just one person painting in their spare time)?
I'm 100% not interested in paintedfigs.com or Blue Table.
I understand Front Line Gaming has one, but I don't know much about it.
What I'm looking for is a single point of contact that represents a collection of painters that will paint my models and have little to no drama (which is why I don't deal with BTP anymore). I'll write up my final experience with Shawn at some point.
Can anybody recommend some services like this?
(to head off the comments, I can paint, I just don't enjoy that part of the experience, and I'd rather pay somebody to do it in lieu of other things)

From my understanding Den of Imagination are pretty reliable and an actual company of painters.
They frequently make YouTube videos showcasing some of their work - theyre based in Poland I think, so there's that to consider if you're worried about shipping distance.

This is one of those tricky ones where a company studio (as opposed to a named individual) is only as good as the people working for it at the time you actually use it
so it could be good when it's recommended, but due to staff leaving and new people coming in much less good when you actually get your stuff back
(a good company will try their best to employ good painters, but if they can't get new staff up to their normal standards will still have to employ people anyway)
that said I've seen a lot of good work (and very few horror stories) from http://www.golempaintingstudio.co.uk/

I have heard great thinks about front line gaming. I have seen their work in person, a guy at my club has his riptide painted by them and it was gorgeous. During the Chaos dwarves BTT fiasco(not trying to bring that subject up as a discussion) they did a good amount of repainting for free to help him out and help the commission painting community out by showing them that they care, and not all studios are just money hungry painting shops. That alone would make me feel secure that they are a great company to work with.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards Front Line Gaming.
I want to use a company, because I had to take a local MD painter to court. Long story short, he took my models and $ and stopped responding to my attempts to contact him. After 9 months, I had enough and went to court. He lost.
BTP...I'll do a write up. But, I gave Shawn $3k and a bunch of DKoK and it took him 14 months and threats to finish the job. Up until this past job, I was ok with BTP, but never again. And the final quality was terrible, even for BTP.
I don't want a single person, because I can buy models and pay them to paint them faster than they can usually complete the project.
So, I want a service that has a bench etc
I wanted to reach out to a bunch of them and get quotes and get a feeling for how they work

Seconding Front Line Gaming. 2 jobs so far, one big, one medium, both times a darn good job.

Fernando is used my a number of forumites with 15mm historicals. The prices are very reasonable given they are based in Sri Lanka. It seems you have to be very specific sometimes with instructions, but in general they do good work:

Phantasos in Germany is a proper company with a clear price structure:

No idea how reliable they are but GMMs work is usually jaw dropping. They have also showcased at places like Adepticon and other very large events so their rep can be somewhat vouched for:

I am pretty sure GMM is a single person operation, but with the speed Brandon paints it does seem like he has a legion of staff.
Garden Ninja Studios is also extremely reliable with quick turn-around-times, but Garden Ninja is also a single person painting operation.
