So my question is does a HQ for a Deathwing Strike Force require terminator armor? The restrictions for a Deathwing Redemption Force clearly state all Independent Characters require terminator armor. However the restrictions for the strike force only state all models must have the Deathwing special rule. A DW strike force starts the game in Deep Strike Reserve and then comes out of reserve on the players choosing. I'm looking to build a list containing a Ravenwing Strike Force with a small DW strike force. Just need some clarification on this because if they don't require TDA then it would free up some points for me. As is right now I am building my list with the HQ in TDA

If it's not one of the listed restrictions then it's not a restriction. If you're concerned about models without the Deep Strike special rule (as provided by Terminator Armour) then see how Drop Pods don't have Deep Strike yet have a special rule requiring them to do so - just as the Deathwing Strike/Redemption Force allow/require models without the special rule to do so.
