This is a custom set of sculptures the better half has been working on. Here is the concept art, and a couple stills of the first model in the set.

Feel free to vote on the images.

Feedback is welcome and encouraged. Don't let the fact that this is her first sculpt cause you to hold back.

I like this, it tends me very much of the fairy and pixie books I was given to read as a youngster.
Something a little bit Brian Froud to it, whilst still having its own style.

My one comment is that the face seems a little inconsequential compared to the attention given everywhere else. I'd like to peep under there and be sure of her character.

Overall very nice looking. I’m not sold on the hand trailing off into roots. If the arm was attached to the body, rather then just normally at the shoulder I think it might work a bit better.

I can’t tell from the pic, but is there ribbing/texture under the cap? It’s a little detail that helps make a mushroom.

Amazing for a first sculpt!

She thanks everyone for the feedback, and the comments will be taken into account for the next one in the series. The hand transitioning into root, is actually cloth transitioning to root. from the angles shown you can't really see the hand in the fabric, but it's there.

The left arm looks like it is missing a shoulder blade and the arm bicep area bends like mid bicep.

Very nice sculpt tho.

I need to go to work every day.

It needs a boltgun and power fist.

More seriously...she is very talented. Bothe the pictures and the sculpt look awesome.
